The Classic

July 20th – July 24th, 2022
Shoreview Park, Shoreline, WA
Registration Opened April 2, 2022

Set in a beautiful city park along the shores of the Puget Sound in Shoreline, Washington, this 5-day tournament features 18 courts, cash prizes for OPEN divisions and competitive skill divisions ranging from 3.0 – 4.5 for ages 12+,50+,60+.

Humana Healthcare stepped up as name sponsor this year, and joins other sponsors providing financial support crucial to a successful tournament. Our nonprofit Seattle Metro Pickleball Association (SMPA) remains the underwriting sponsor of tournament, and SMPA supplies the bulk of the volunteer crew from our membership.

This already well-loved tournament celebrates the dedicated local pickleball community and benefits the SMPA, as we welcome first-time participants, tournament veterans, and top local players and pros from across the west coast.

Find a partner and plan to join in for what is the premier outdoor pickleball tournament in the Seattle metro area.

You don’t have to play to be involved. The success of the tournament depends on dedicated volunteers who want to be a part of this fun summer event. Check out the volunteer page and follow the links to add your name to the list of friends, family, and players coming on board as volunteers for this great summer happening.

Registration opened April 2nd, 2022, early registration ends 5/31/22, and closes 7/1/22. Many brackets filled within hours of the opening, which resulted in waitlists.

  • Note that you must have a USA Pickleball membership and number before you can register in Pickleball Tournaments.
  • If you are waitlisted, be sure to pay your tournament fees, as this will increase your odds of being moved off the waitlist if those in the existing brackets don’t pay their registration fees.

Keep up to date on developments and follow us on Facebook for the latest tournament information.
